Usually I do not write about hardware, but I had stupid problem with my sound card. I was selling my card and I was almost sure that it’s Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro. Before I sent to customer I’ve decided that it could be good to check what I sell in fact. What a surprise?! My card model number is SB0460 and  at create web site http://support.creative.com/kb/showarticle.aspx?sid=61105 it’s described as Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic.  What’s the hell??? Was I laying to my customer ??? It seems that Create has little mess with their models numbers. I spent some time to discover that at front of the card it’s PCB number, which is not the same as model number. If you want to identify your sound card in proper way you have to use sticker at back of your card and model number is a part of serial number. The full description you can find at http://www.creative.com/soundblaster/X-FiList/ . Uff.
